All Star Velocean

All Star Velocean is a 52-meter purpose-built scuba liveaboard with an all-aluminium hull, built in 2020 and renovated in 2025, accommodating up to 18 guests across 10 ocean-view suites. Built for speed and comfort, with twin Cummins engines giving a 20-knot top speed — the fastest diving liveaboard in Indonesia — the vessel runs 8 to 12-night itineraries across Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea. Free nitrox included. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from USD $600 per person per day.

All Star Velocean is compliant with Lloyd's Register (UK) and BKI Class (Indonesia), reflecting a level of engineering and safety certification uncommon among Indonesian liveaboards, most of which are traditional wooden Phinisi vessels. A crew of 24 serves a maximum of 18 guests — above a 1:1 ratio — with stabilisers fitted for a smoother ride between dive sites. The vessel is purpose-built for diving and underwater photography, with dedicated camera workspaces and private dive gear stations built into the design from the outset rather than retrofitted.

Ten ocean-view suites across three categories sit on the main deck and above. Platinum Oceanfront Suites occupy the front of the vessel with panoramic skyline windows and the highest level of privacy. Elite Ocean Suites and Signature Single Suites complete the layout, the latter a genuine single-occupancy option rather than a shared or supplemented cabin. All suites include a spacious en-suite bathroom, premium linens, a large picture window, individually controlled climate control, and complimentary WiFi. The 400 sqm deck area includes a 360-degree outdoor sundeck with a jacuzzi and banquette seating, an indoor saloon, and an observation deck.

Diving is supported by a shaded dive deck, DIN adaptors, rinse hoses, and sidemount diving capability for single-tank configurations. Nitrox is included free of charge for certified divers. Full board covers all meals, snacks, a beach BBQ, soft drinks, tea and coffee, night dives, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, land excursions, and WiFi. Rental gear, park, port, and fuel fees are charged separately, and a private dive guide is available at $200 per day for guests who need one. The crew speaks English and Indonesian.
