Blue Lotus

Blue Lotus is a 34-meter traditional Phinisi liveaboard operated by the Azul Komodo dive team, accommodating 12 guests across 5 teak-lined cabins on three decks. The vessel operates exclusively in Komodo National Park, offering 4 to 8-day itineraries covering dive sites including Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, and Manta Point. Nitrox available. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from USD $274 per person per day.

Blue Lotus is the liveaboard arm of Azul Komodo, a PADI 5-Star Eco Center with deep roots in Komodo diving. The vessel operates exclusively within Komodo National Park, making it a specialist platform for divers who want to focus on one of Indonesia's most celebrated marine environments rather than covering multiple regions. Captains and crew bring 7 to 11 years of local experience navigating Komodo's waters, with direct access to the decompression chamber at Siloam Hospital in Labuan Bajo in case of emergencies.

Five teak-lined cabins across three decks accommodate up to 12 guests. The upper deck features the Master Cabin — a double cabin with a private balcony. The lower deck houses two twin cabins each with two single beds, and two further cabins each with one double and one single bed. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and ambient lighting. Common areas include an indoor restaurant, an outdoor bow dining area with artisanal tableware, an outdoor lounge, a sun deck with loungers, and a fully equipped main deck dive prep area with outdoor shower and rinse facilities.

Diving follows a maximum 4:1 diver-to-guide ratio with mandatory pre-dive briefings, conservative depth limits, and required safety stops. Itineraries run from 4 days (Komodo Central) to 8 days (Komodo Complete), with up to 23 dives per trip across iconic sites including Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Manta Point, Cannibal Rock, and Manta Alley. Nitrox is available onboard. Land excursions to encounter Komodo dragons are included on relevant itineraries. Dive equipment is Scuba Pro, maintained by certified repair specialists onboard.
