Blue Manta
Liveaboard in Indonesia
Blue Manta is a 45-meter steel-hulled liveaboard purpose-built for diving in Indonesia, accommodating 22 guests across 14 en-suite cabins averaging 20 sqm, distributed over three decks. For the 2026/2027 season, the vessel operates itineraries across Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, Banda Sea, and Triton Bay, with a crew of 20. Single supplement at just 20%. Rates starting from USD $344 per person per day.
Blue Manta is one of the few purpose-built steel-hulled liveaboards operating in Indonesia, a construction choice that delivers stability in open-water crossings and rougher sea conditions that wooden vessels cannot match. Cruising at 9 knots with a 45,000-liter fuel capacity, the vessel is well suited to long-haul itineraries and blue-water crossings — including special Banda Sea expeditions in April and September/November, and Triton Bay departures in West Papua that run alongside the main seasonal schedule across Raja Ampat and Komodo National Park.
Fourteen en-suite cabins across three decks accommodate up to 22 guests. Cabins on the lower deck feature twin beds and porthole windows, main deck cabins offer double beds with sea-view windows, and upper deck cabins provide double beds with large windows and the best natural light onboard. All cabins average 20 sqm with individual climate control, private bathrooms with hot showers, ample storage, and power points with both 2 and 3-pin sockets. Solo travelers benefit from one of the lowest single supplements in the Indonesian liveaboard market at just 20% above the standard cabin rate. Three onboard chefs serve five meals daily, with freshly baked bread to start each morning.
The extended dive deck is equipped with individual rinse tanks and a separate dive platform with hot showers. A dedicated air-conditioned camera room provides individual stations, blow-dry facilities, and charging points for underwater photographers. Dive groups are capped at four guests per guide. Nitrox is available onboard at an additional charge. Additional amenities include two onboard massage therapists, an air-conditioned main lounge with large-screen TV, and 24-hour satellite Wi-Fi.
