Gaia Love

Liveaboard in Indonesia

5 (4 reviews)

Gaia Love is a 40-meter marine steel motor yacht accommodating up to 22 guests across 11 en-suite cabins — 6 upper deck cabins with private balconies and 5 lower deck cabins, each approximately 20 sqm. For the 2026/2027 season, the vessel runs 7 to 11-night itineraries across Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, Komodo, Alor, and Derawan Islands. Nitrox available onboard. Rates starting from USD $560 per person per day.

Gaia Love stands apart from most Indonesian liveaboards in two practical ways: its marine steel hull and twin Yanmar 829 BHP engines allow it to cruise at 10 knots and cover a range of 6,570 nautical miles — enabling a breadth of seasonal itineraries that wooden Phinisi vessels operating at 7–8 knots simply can't match. Over the course of a year, Gaia Love covers more of the Indonesian archipelago than almost any other vessel on the market, moving through Raja Ampat, Cenderawasih Bay, Ambon, the Banda Sea and Forgotten Islands, Triton Bay, Alor, Komodo, Sumbawa, Wakatobi, the Derawan and Sangalaki Islands, Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Lembeh, Sangihe, Gorontalo, Togian Islands, and Halmahera — destinations that many dedicated liveaboards never reach.

Eleven cabins across two decks accommodate up to 22 guests. Upper deck cabins each have a private balcony with king, queen, or super-single configurations. Lower deck cabins offer the same bed options without balconies. All cabins are approximately 20 sqm with individually controlled air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and an in-room TV and entertainment system. The main deck saloon is full-beam width with a modern contemporary design, providing generous social space. The top deck features an open sun area with a bar for evening gatherings. Additional amenities include massage services, laundry, satellite broadband, and a kayak and paddleboard for water sports.

The dive deck accommodates up to 20 divers with personal seating, designated wet and dry zones, and 11 compartmentalized camera rinse tanks. Three 5.5m aluminium tenders with 85HP outboards deploy divers to sites. Three Bauer PE250 compressors and a 550L nitrox membrane system supply both standard air and nitrox, with 45 tanks across 12L and 15L aluminium configurations. A dedicated camera room serves underwater photographers. Itineraries run 7 to 11 nights depending on destination, with most trips available per cabin or as full private charters.

Booking FAQ

Booking is easy - a 50% deposit secures your spot immediately, with the remaining balance due 100 days before departure. If you're booking within 100 days of your trip, full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Popular routes book 6-12 months or or even further, so we recommend securing your spot early.
