Ilike
Liveaboard in Indonesia
Ilike is a 40-meter traditional Phinisi liveaboard built in Bira, South Sulawesi in 2010 and remodeled in 2016, accommodating 16 guests across 8 en-suite cabins. Exclusively for experienced divers — a minimum of 75 logged dives and Advanced certification is required. For the 2026/2027 season, the vessel runs 5 to 13-night itineraries across Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea, Alor, and Triton Bay. Nitrox available onboard. Rates starting from USD $288 per person per day.
Ilike is operated by Belgian management with European and Indonesian crew, and caters exclusively to experienced divers — requiring a minimum of 75 logged dives and Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent before boarding. This is a deliberate choice: the vessel regularly operates in remote, current-driven environments including the Banda Sea, Komodo, and Raja Ampat, where sites can be challenging and evacuation to medical facilities may take many hours. Dual 320HP marine engines allow a cruising speed of 9–10 knots, enabling an itinerary range that covers Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, Alor, the Banda Sea, Forgotten Islands, Triton Bay, East Flores, Halmahera, and Kalimantan over the course of a year.
Eight fully air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms accommodate 16 guests across several configurations. The Sea View Suite on the upper deck features large windows overlooking the ocean with a convertible double or twin bed. The foredeck Suite on the lower deck offers a king-size bed. Four Superior cabins on the lower deck each have a double bed plus bunk bed, well suited for families or three guests. Two Standard cabins complete the layout. Common areas include an indoor air-conditioned saloon with open kitchen and entertainment system, an outdoor stern dining area sheltered from wind while sailing, and a sun deck with cushioned loungers and hammocks. The dive deck is one of the most spacious on any Indonesian liveaboard, with dedicated camera preparation areas, separate rinse tanks, and charging points. Two diving tenders serve all site access, and nitrox is available onboard via a membrane compressor system.
