Komodo Aggressor
Liveaboard in Indonesia
Komodo Aggressor is a 29-meter Phinisi-style liveaboard with twin masts and twin engines, accommodating 16 guests across 8 staterooms — 2 Balcony Suites, 3 Master Staterooms, and 3 Deluxe Staterooms. Part of the global Aggressor fleet operating in Indonesia since 2001, the vessel runs 7, 9, 10, and 11-night itineraries across Komodo National Park, Sumbawa, Alor, the Banda Sea, and Sulawesi. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from USD $415 per person per day.
Komodo Aggressor is built in the traditional Phinisi style with twin masts and a wooden hull, distinguishing her from the steel-hulled Raja Ampat Aggressor within the same fleet. Operating in Indonesia since 2001, she is one of the longest-established liveaboards in the Komodo region. Cruising at 8 knots with a 7.9-meter beam, the vessel offers six distinct itineraries, each scheduled for the optimal season in that region, with three to four dives per day including night dives. A 7-night trip covers approximately 22–24 dives, a 9-night trip 25–27 dives, a 10-night trip 24–26 dives, and an 11-night trip 28–30 dives. All diving is conducted from two twin-engine tenders.
Eight staterooms accommodate 16 guests across three decks. Two Balcony Suites on the upper deck feature twin beds combinable into a king, a picture window, and a private balcony with table and chairs. Three Master Staterooms include two upper deck rooms with twin beds combinable into a king, and one main deck room with a queen and a single bed. Three Deluxe Staterooms on the lower deck offer twin beds, with one room combining a queen and a twin; all have portholes rather than picture windows. Every stateroom includes a private bathroom, individual air conditioning control, bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, and daily housekeeping with turn-down service. Common areas include a large air-conditioned salon and dining area, a sun deck with lounge and deck chairs, and a TV with media player and sound system for evening entertainment including fish identification presentations and movies.
All meals, snacks, and beverages are included, along with a complimentary selection of local beer and wine. Diving amenities include a dedicated camera room and freshwater showers. The North Komodo 7-night itinerary departs from and returns to Labuan Bajo, covering the Sape Strait and Banta Island with sites including Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Batu Bolong, and Shotgun, alongside a guided Komodo dragon walk on Komodo Island. Longer itineraries extend to Sumbawa, Alor, the Banda Sea, and a Sulawesi North to South crossing.
