Seahorse
Liveaboard in Indonesia
Seahorse is a 33-meter traditional Phinisi liveaboard built in 2005 and fully refurbished in 2018, accommodating 16 guests across 8 en-suite cabins. Sister vessel to Ambai under Wallacea Dive Cruise, the vessel runs 9 to 13-night itineraries across Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea, Halmahera, Triton Bay, and the Togian Islands. Nitrox included for certified divers. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from USD $492 per person per day.
Seahorse is the second vessel in the Wallacea Dive Cruise fleet, operating alongside Ambai under the same management and holding the same 5.0 Google rating across 253 reviews. Built in 2005 and comprehensively refurbished in 2018, she is a traditional Phinisi with an 8.5-meter beam and a 3,000 nautical mile range — well suited to the longer multi-region itineraries that Wallacea specialises in. A crew of 12 is complemented by 4 dedicated divemasters, with nitrox included as standard for certified divers — uncommon at this price point. The same returning guest loyalty program applies as on Ambai.
Eight cabins accommodate 16 guests across two decks. On the lower deck, five twin cabins and one double cabin each have individually controlled air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms with hot water. Two sea view double cabins on the main deck offer the same amenities with views of the surrounding water. Towels and toiletries including soap, shampoo, and toothpaste are provided throughout. Common areas include an air-conditioned restaurant serving as the dive briefing room, a lounge with bar, outdoor front sitting area, main deck relaxation spots, and a sundeck. An onboard masseuse is available, and kayaks are provided for use between dives.
Two custom-built 22-foot aluminium tenders serve all dive operations. The spacious camera room provides dedicated rinse tanks, charging stations, and workstations for underwater photographers. The vessel cruises at 7–8 knots with a 6,000-litre-per-day watermaker and 12,000-litre freshwater storage. For the 2026/2027 season, itineraries cover Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, Banda Sea, Halmahera, Triton Bay, and the Togian Islands — with some itineraries finishing in Luwuk, close to the Wallacea-affiliated Tompotika Dive Lodge in North Sulawesi.
