White Manta
Liveaboard in Indonesia
White Manta is a 46-meter steel-hulled liveaboard and one of the largest purpose-built dive vessels in the region, accommodating up to 24 guests across 14 en-suite cabins averaging 20 sqm, distributed over three decks. For the 2026/2027 season, the vessel operates itineraries across Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, and Halmahera, with a crew of 20. Single supplement at just 20%. Rates starting from USD $392 per person per day.
White Manta is the larger of the two steel-hulled vessels operated by White Manta Diving, measuring 46 meters in length, 10 meters in beam, and displacing 580 tons. She holds RINA CLASS certification — issued by the Italian ship classification society Registro Italiano Navale, one of the world's leading independent bodies for marine safety and vessel construction standards. She cruises at 10 knots with twin engines and dual generators, purpose-engineered for long-haul passages and blue-water crossings where stability and range matter, and where wooden-hulled vessels are at a disadvantage.
Fourteen en-suite cabins across three decks accommodate up to 24 guests across twin, double, and triple-share configurations. Lower deck cabins feature porthole windows, main deck cabins have sea-view windows, and upper deck cabins offer the largest windows and best natural light onboard. All cabins average 20 sqm with individual climate control, private bathrooms, ample storage, and multi-pin power points. Solo travelers benefit from a single supplement of just 20% above the standard cabin rate. Five meals are prepared daily by onboard chefs, with indoor air-conditioned and outdoor alfresco dining options. Two onboard massage therapists and a partially shaded sundeck with loungers and day beds round out the above-water experience.
Diving operates in small groups of four guests per guide, supported by four tenders and three compressors with a nitrox membrane system — nitrox available at an additional charge. The dedicated indoor camera room provides individual charging stations, storage, and blow-dry facilities for underwater photographers, complemented by an outdoor workstation on the dive deck. For the 2026/2027 season, itineraries include Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, Halmahera, Sangalaki, and seasonal Molluca and Celebes Sea crossings. 24-hour satellite Wi-Fi is available onboard.
