Fenides

Liveaboard a Indonesia

0 (0 recensioni)

Fenides is a 41-meter luxury Phinisi liveaboard built in 2019 by the Konjo Boat Builders of Ara, accommodating up to 11 guests across 5 en-suite cabins. Positioned equally for diving, surfing, and leisure, the vessel runs itineraries across Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda, Alor, Halmahera, and Sumba — one of the very few Indonesian liveaboards offering dedicated surf trips alongside diving. Nitrox included. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from USD $823 per person per day.

Fenides is among the highest-specification liveaboards in Indonesia, designed by naval architect Michael Schnadhorst and built by the Konjo Boat Builders of Ara — combining German engineering with traditional Sulawesi craftsmanship. The vessel undergoes dry dock maintenance annually, sometimes more than once a year, reflecting an operational standard closer to a private superyacht than a typical Phinisi charter. What sets Fenides apart in the Indonesian market is its dual focus: alongside a full diving program across Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda, Alor, and Halmahera, Fenides runs dedicated surf itineraries to Raja Ampat, Halmahera, and Sumba — the latter one of Indonesia's most rewarding and least crowded surf regions, reached by very few liveaboards. Diving and snorkeling trips are also available, leaning further into leisure and water sports for groups who want a more relaxed pace alongside time in the water. A crew of 11 serves a maximum of 11 guests, a 1:1 ratio uncommon even among luxury vessels.

Five cabins accommodate up to 11 guests across three decks. The Master Suite at 20 sqm on the lower deck includes an additional single bed. Two Double Cabins and two Twin Cabins, each 12 sqm, complete the layout — two of the doubles on the upper deck with elevated views. All cabins are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, premium linens, and world-class TV and media systems. The main deck features a sundeck, exclusive saloon, and bar equipped with Bose marine sound, alongside a dedicated climate-controlled camera room with six desks for underwater photographers and videographers to set up, charge, and edit their work.

Diving is supported by Bauer compressors and a CompAir nitrox system, with two RIB tenders each powered by 50HP engines. Water sports beyond diving and surfing include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and waterskiing. All meals, soft drinks, tea and coffee, nitrox, water sports equipment, beach BBQs, land excursions, and WiFi are included. Dive equipment rental is included on private charters; on standard FIT departures it is available to rent separately. National park and port fees are charged separately.
