Coralbound Terms of Service

Important: Please Read These Terms and Conditions Carefully
Language Precedence: These Terms of Use are originally written in English. While translations into other languages may be provided for convenience, the English version is the only legally binding version and shall prevail in the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or difference in interpretation between the English version and any translated version.
PT Tur Tak Terkalahkan ("Coralbound", "we", "us") domiciled at Jl. Sunset Road No 89, Pertokoan Sunset Indah II, Kav 3, No 3B, 80361 Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, operates a travel booking platform covering liveaboard diving, hotels, tours, and domestic flights through the website https://coralbound.com (the "Platform").
Service Availability: This Platform is available to international users only. Services are not available to Indonesian residents in accordance with company policy.
Definitions
"You" refers to the Platform user making a booking
"Liveaboard" refers to a diving cruise vessel including all facilities stated as included by the Operator
"Hotel" refers to accommodation available for booking through the Platform
"Tours" refers to tour packages, activities, and experiences offered through local DMC partners
"Domestic Flights" refers to flight services within Indonesia offered through licensed DMC partners
"Operator" refers to the liveaboard service provider offering trips through the Platform
"Service Provider" refers to hotels, local DMCs, airlines, or other tourism service providers
"Booking" refers to agreements between you and Operators/Service Providers regarding booked services
"Services" refers to booking services and facilities provided through the Platform
"Primary Booker" refers to the person who actually makes the reservation and is responsible for the group
1. General Terms
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
Estas Condiciones de Uso se aplican a todas las ofertas, reservas, acuerdos y otras relaciones legales entre usted y Coralbound. Al acceder a nuestra Plataforma, utilizar nuestros servicios y/o realizar una Reserva, usted acepta y se compromete a cumplir estas Condiciones Generales. Si no está de acuerdo con estos términos, no podrá utilizar la Plataforma ni nuestros servicios.
1.2 Cumplimiento Legal
Esta Plataforma opera de acuerdo con la ley indonesia aplicable como país de domicilio de la empresa y posee un Número de Identificación Empresarial (NIB) con certificados estándar de turismo.
1.3 Garantías del Usuario y Capacidad Legal
Como condición para usar la Plataforma y realizar reservas, usted garantiza que:
- Tiene al menos 18 años de edad o ha obtenido el consentimiento de sus padres/tutores legales
- Tiene la capacidad legal para celebrar contratos vinculantes según su ley local
- Toda la información proporcionada durante la reserva es precisa y completa
- Está autorizado a realizar reservas en nombre de cualquier otra persona incluida
- Cumplirá con todas las leyes y regulaciones aplicables durante su viaje
- No es residente en Indonesia y no accede a la Plataforma desde Indonesia
Si es menor de 18 años, su padre, madre o tutor legal deberá completar el proceso de reserva y aceptar la plena responsabilidad del cumplimiento de estos términos.
2. Rol de Coralbound
2.1 Rol de Intermediario
Coralbound actúa únicamente como intermediario entre usted y los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios. No operamos embarcaciones de vida a bordo, hoteles, aerolíneas ni proporcionamos servicios turísticos directamente. Para servicios de tour y vuelos nacionales, nos asociamos con Empresas de Gestión de Destinos (DMC) locales autorizadas que gestionan las reservas con aerolíneas y proveedores de servicios.
Platform Usage: Coralbound does not charge you for the basic use of the Platform. Our revenue is derived from commissions and markups paid by or added to Service Provider rates.
No Endorsement: Coralbound does not endorse any of the Operators/Service Providers and makes no representations with respect to the affordability, quality, safety, or suitability of the Operators/Service Providers, their infrastructure, equipment, vessels, or their ability to deliver services.
Display Order: The order in which information, services, or Operators are displayed on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement of any particular Operator/Service Provider. Display order may be influenced by factors including availability, pricing, popularity, commission rates, or promotional considerations.
2.2 Direct Contract
Bookings made through the Platform will constitute a direct contract between you and the Operator/Service Provider in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in each respective Booking.
2.3 Limited Responsibility
For platform-specific service failures that are directly attributable to Coralbound's platform operations, our assistance is limited to the following specific actions:
Reasonable Assistance Defined:
- Communication facilitation: Forwarding messages between customers and Operators/Service Providers
- Documentation provision: Providing booking confirmations, payment receipts, and transaction records
- Technical troubleshooting: Assisting with platform access issues or booking system problems
- Information clarification: Explaining booking terms, cancellation policies, or platform procedures
- Escalation support: Notifying Operators/Service Providers of urgent customer issues
Assistance Limitations:
- No proporcionamos asesoramiento legal ni representación
- No podemos obligar a los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios a modificar sus políticas
- No organizamos alojamientos de viaje alternativos
- No proporcionamos asistencia de viaje de emergencia ni servicios de conserjería
- No podemos anular las decisiones de los Operadores sobre reembolsos o prestación de servicios
Compensación por Fallos de la Plataforma: Nuestra compensación financiera se limita estrictamente a los costos directamente relacionados con fallos documentados de la plataforma Coralbound, que incluyen:
Solo Problemas Específicos de la Plataforma:
- Errores de procesamiento de reservas causados por mal funcionamiento de la plataforma
- Procesamiento incorrecto de pagos debido a fallos del sistema de la plataforma
- Pérdida o corrupción de datos de información de reservas confirmadas
- Costos de transferencia bancaria causados por errores de procesamiento de la plataforma
Limitaciones de Compensación:
- La compensación se limita a los costos reales documentados causados directamente por fallos de la plataforma
- La compensación máxima no excederá la comisión/margen recibido por Coralbound por la reserva afectada
- La compensación no incluye daños consecuentes, pérdida de oportunidades o costos indirectos
- Todas las reclamaciones de compensación deben presentarse por escrito dentro de los 30 días posteriores al fallo de la plataforma
Responsabilidades Excluidas: Los fallos del servicio, retrasos, cancelaciones o problemas causados por los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios siguen siendo enteramente su responsabilidad y no están cubiertos por la asistencia limitada o la política de compensación de Coralbound.
2.4 Responsabilidad de Reservas Grupales
Cuando se incluyen varias personas en una sola reserva, la persona que realiza la reserva ("Reservador Principal") constituye la parte contratante con el Operador/Proveedor de Servicios. El Reservador Principal acepta la plena responsabilidad de:
- Realizar todos los pagos para todos los miembros del grupo
- Comunicar todos los términos y condiciones a los miembros del grupo
- Garantizar que todos los miembros del grupo cumplan con los requisitos del Operador/Proveedor de Servicios
- Gestionar cualquier cambio, cancelación o problema que afecte a todo el grupo
- Proporcionar información precisa para todos los miembros del grupo
- Ser la única persona autorizada para solicitar modificaciones o cambios en la reserva
Todos los miembros del grupo deben reconocer y aceptar individualmente los términos y condiciones aplicables. Coralbound no es responsable de las disputas entre los miembros del grupo con respecto a la asignación de pagos, la participación o las circunstancias individuales que afecten la reserva.
Beneficios para grupos grandes: Los grupos más grandes pueden ser elegibles para arreglos de chárter especiales, opciones de chárter parcial o tarifas preferenciales para grupos. Los grupos de 8 o más personas deben contactarnos directamente en [email protected] para obtener precios y arreglos personalizados.
Modificaciones de reserva: Solo el Reservador Principal puede solicitar cambios en las reservas confirmadas. Si bien Coralbound ayudará a comunicar las solicitudes de cambio a los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios, todas las modificaciones están sujetas a la aprobación del Operador/Proveedor de Servicios y sus políticas de cambio/cancelación. Las tarifas de cambio, los cargos de cancelación y las restricciones de disponibilidad son determinados por el Operador/Proveedor de Servicios, no por Coralbound.
2.5 Disponibilidad de reserva y proceso de confirmación
Disponibilidad no en tiempo real: Las reservas realizadas a través de la Plataforma Coralbound están sujetas a la disponibilidad de los servicios solicitados por los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios. La disponibilidad mostrada en la Plataforma no es en tiempo real, por lo tanto, se requerirá la confirmación del Operador/Proveedor de Servicios una vez realizada una reserva.
Plazo de confirmación: La confirmación de la reserva puede tardar entre 24 y 48 horas. Las reservas solo se confirman una vez que se le ha enviado un correo electrónico de confirmación que incluye una factura o cupón de confirmación y se ha recibido el pago del depósito requerido.
Arreglos de viaje relacionados: Coralbound le aconseja encarecidamente que realice otros arreglos de viaje relacionados, incluidas, entre otras, las reservas de vuelos, solo después de que su reserva sea confirmada por el Operador/Proveedor de Servicios.
Sistema de retención temporal: Cuando se realiza una reserva en la Plataforma, inicialmente puede ser colocada bajo una retención temporal. La duración de esta retención varía según los términos y condiciones específicos de cada Operador/Proveedor de Servicios. La retención puede ser eliminada a discreción de los agentes de Coralbound y/o de acuerdo con los términos del Operador, particularmente si el pago del depósito no se recibe a tiempo.
Requisitos de información adicional: En algunos casos, se requiere información adicional para completar las reservas, que incluyen, entre otras:
- Copias de pasaporte
- Prueba de seguro de viaje
- Certificados de salud o autorizaciones médicas
- Documentación de certificación de buceo
- Información de contacto de emergencia
Information Deadline: You are required to provide this information as detailed as possible within 12 hours of making the booking for all guests covered under the booking, and/or as required by the Operator/Service Provider.
Cancellation for Missing Information: Coralbound and/or the Operator/Service Provider hold the right to cancel bookings if required information is not provided by you or is provided too late.
3. Client Responsibilities and Requirements
3.1 Guest Standards and Requirements Responsibility
By making a Booking, you agree to be responsible for reviewing and ensuring compliance with all standards and requirements set by the Operator/Service Provider, and ensuring that all guests adhere to these requirements. Requirements differ per Operator and per service type, but may include:
For Diving Services:
- Minimum diving experience and certification requirements
- Specific certification levels (e.g., Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, etc.)
- Logged dive minimums and recent diving activity
- Medical fitness and health requirements
- Diving insurance coverage requirements
For All Services:
- Age restrictions and physical fitness requirements
- Health and disability accommodation needs
- Personal information required by Operators
- Mandatory forms including medical statements, liability releases, and assumption of risk agreements
- Passport, visa, and travel documentation requirements
- Travel insurance coverage
Special Accommodation: If any guest has physical or mental illness, disability, dietary restrictions, or other conditions requiring special arrangements, you must notify us as soon as possible after booking completion so we can discuss with the Operator whether and how they can accommodate these needs.
3.2 Arrival and Transportation Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring all guests arrive at the designated departure location (port, airport, hotel, or meeting point) at the date and time specified in your Booking confirmation.
Late Arrival Consequences: If any guest fails to reach the departure location by the scheduled time, you will be responsible for all associated costs, including but not limited to:
- Catching up with liveaboards or tours if locally possible to arrange
- Additional accommodation costs for missed connections
- Alternative transportation arrangements
- Rebooking fees for missed flights or services
- Any unused portions of the original booking
Travel Assistance Limitation: Upon request, we can provide suggestions for airlines, hotels, and transfer options, but we hold no affiliation with these companies and cannot be held accountable for their services. We cannot provide assistance with passport, visa, or health requirements set by any country or Operator.
3.3 Compliance with Operator Rules and Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring all guests adhere to rules and requirements imposed by Operators/Service Providers, including:
Onboard Rules: All vessel rules, safety regulations, and operational procedures Activity Requirements: Diving safety protocols, equipment usage, and participation guidelines Behavioral Standards: Respectful conduct toward crew, guides, and other guests Environmental Policies: Marine conservation rules and local environmental regulations
Operator Authority: If any guest fails to comply with Operator rules or requirements, the Operator (or vessel captain) has the absolute right to:
- Deny boarding or entry to accommodations
- Exclude guests from diving activities or other services
- Remove guests from vessels or accommodations
- Terminate services without refund
No Platform Liability: Coralbound is not responsible for Operator decisions regarding guest compliance or service termination due to rule violations.
4. Diving Requirements and Safety
4.1 Mandatory Insurance
IMPORTANT: Diving destinations served by Coralbound require adequate diving insurance for all scuba diving activities. You are legally responsible for obtaining coverage including diving accidents, hyperbaric chamber treatments, and emergency evacuation. Hyperbaric chamber availability varies by destination and may be limited or unavailable in remote locations.
4.2 Certification and Medical Requirements
For diving services, you are responsible for meeting the minimum requirements set by Operators, including:
- Valid diving certification from recognized organizations (PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc.)
- Minimum diving experience appropriate to trip level
- Completed and signed diving medical statement form
- Medical clearance letter from physician (if required based on medical conditions)
- Signed liability release forms
Medical Statement Procedures:
- All divers must complete standard diving medical statement forms
- If any medical conditions are answered "YES", medical consultation with a physician is required
- Physician must either sign the medical statement after consultation OR provide separate fitness-to-dive medical clearance
- Medical documentation must be submitted to Operators before diving activities commence
For Domestic Flights: Flight bookings are subject to airline terms and conditions. You are responsible for:
- Llegar al aeropuerto con tiempo suficiente antes de la salida (normalmente 2-3 horas para vuelos nacionales)
- Llevar una identificación válida con fotografía según lo exijan las autoridades de aviación
- Cumplir con las restricciones y políticas de equipaje de la aerolínea
- Comprender que los horarios de vuelo pueden cambiar debido a requisitos operativos
Para servicios de hotel y tours, los Proveedores de Servicios respectivos comunicarán los requisitos específicos.
4.3 Divulgación de Riesgos
Las actividades de buceo y aventura implican riesgos inherentes. Los avisos de viaje señalan que las operaciones de buceo en destinos remotos pueden tener una supervisión de seguridad limitada y las instalaciones médicas de emergencia suelen ser restringidas, especialmente en lugares remotos. Coralbound no acepta ninguna responsabilidad por los estándares de seguridad, la frecuencia de inspección, los niveles de certificación del personal o las capacidades de respuesta de emergencia en ningún destino.
4.4 Responsabilidad de los Documentos de Viaje y Requisitos de Entrada
Usted es el único responsable de asegurarse de que cumple todos los requisitos de entrada a países extranjeros para sus destinos de viaje y de que sus documentos de viaje están en regla, incluyendo:
- Pasaporte válido con una validez mínima de 6 meses a partir de la fecha del viaje
- Visados requeridos para todos los países de viaje y tránsito
- Certificaciones y documentación de buceo internacional
- Certificados de salud o vacunas según lo requieran los países de destino
- Documentación de seguro de viaje que cumpla con los requisitos del destino
Coralbound proporciona información general de viaje solo como guía. Los requisitos de entrada pueden cambiar sin previo aviso, y usted debe verificar los requisitos actuales con las embajadas o consulados pertinentes. El incumplimiento de la posesión de la documentación adecuada que resulte en la denegación de entrada, servicios perdidos o costos adicionales es su única responsabilidad.
4.5 Requisitos de Divulgación de Aptitud Médica
Para Actividades de Buceo: Debe notificarnos a nosotros y al Operador dentro de las 12 horas posteriores a la reserva si usted:
- Tener condiciones médicas que requieran evaluación médica para bucear
- Tomar medicamentos que puedan afectar la capacidad de buceo
- Tener antecedentes de afecciones en oídos, pulmones, corazón u otras condiciones relevantes para el buceo
- Tener un accidente de buceo o experiencia de descompresión previa
Para Todas las Actividades: Debe revelar cualquier condición médica, limitación física, requisito dietético u otra necesidad especial que pueda afectar su seguridad o participación en los servicios reservados. La falta de divulgación de información médica relevante puede resultar en:
- Denegación de participación en actividades
- Pérdida de pagos por servicios no utilizados
- Costos médicos o de evacuación adicionales a su cargo
4.6 Restricciones de Edad para Actividades
Diferentes actividades pueden tener requisitos de edad específicos establecidos por los Operadores:
- Actividades de Buceo: Los requisitos de edad mínima varían según el nivel de certificación y la política del operador (típicamente de 10 a 16 años como mínimo)
- Viajes en Barco Habitable: Muchos operadores requieren una edad mínima de 12 a 16 años debido a consideraciones de seguridad y operativas
- Buceo Avanzado: El buceo profundo, el buceo nocturno y el buceo técnico pueden tener requisitos de edad más altos
Las restricciones de edad son determinadas por los Operadores individuales y deben verificarse antes de reservar. Se puede requerir prueba de edad al registrarse. Los Operadores se reservan el derecho de negar la participación si no se cumplen los requisitos de edad, y no se proporcionarán reembolsos por exclusiones relacionadas con la edad que se indicaron claramente en los términos de reserva.
4.7 Recomendaciones de Seguro de Viaje
ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO: Coralbound recomienda encarecidamente que todos los viajeros adquieran un seguro de viaje completo que incluya:
- Cobertura de cancelación e interrupción del viaje por emergencias médicas, emergencias familiares o circunstancias personales inesperadas
- Cobertura médica que incluya tratamiento médico de emergencia y evacuación
- Cobertura específica de buceo para tratamiento en cámara de descompresión y accidentes de buceo
- Cobertura por desastres naturales y eventos climáticos, incluyendo actividad volcánica, clima severo y eventos de fuerza mayor
- Cobertura por denegación de visa si aplica a sus planes de viaje
Circostanze Speciali: L'assicurazione di viaggio è particolarmente importante per la copertura di situazioni che possono verificarsi dopo la prenotazione, tra cui:
- Complicazioni della gravidanza o sviluppo di condizioni mediche
- Emergenze familiari che richiedono la cancellazione del viaggio
- Rifiuto del visto o problemi con il passaporto

Limitazione della Piattaforma: Sebbene Coralbound fornirà assistenza ragionevole e aiuterà a mediare con gli Operatori/Fornitori di Servizi per quanto riguarda le situazioni di copertura, il tuo contratto principale rimane con l'Operatore/Fornitore di Servizi. L'assicurazione di viaggio fornisce un'importante protezione finanziaria che Coralbound non può offrire.
Eventi di Forza Maggiore: Disastri naturali, attività vulcanica, condizioni meteorologiche avverse e altri eventi di forza maggiore sono tipicamente coperti da un'assicurazione di viaggio completa, ma potrebbero non essere coperti dalle normali politiche di cancellazione dell'Operatore.
4.8 Documentazione e Requisiti Assicurativi
Documentazione Assicurativa Obbligatoria: Devi fornire i dettagli completi dell'assicurazione agli Operatori prima dell'inizio del servizio, inclusi:
- Nome del fornitore dell'assicurazione e informazioni di contatto 24 ore su 24
- Numero di polizza e date di validità della copertura
- Limiti di copertura per spese mediche, evacuazione e incidenti specifici per immersioni
- Procedure di contatto di emergenza per reclami e autorizzazioni
Specifiche dell'Assicurazione Subacquea: L'assicurazione subacquea deve includere la copertura per:
- Trattamento in camera iperbarica (minimo USD 100.000 raccomandato)
- Evacuazione medica di emergenza da località remote
- Trattamento medico per incidenti subacquei e ricovero ospedaliero
- Rimpatrio medico nel paese d'origine, se necessario
Requisiti di Verifica: La documentazione assicurativa deve essere fornita al momento del check-in e può essere verificata con i fornitori di assicurazione. Gli Operatori possono rifiutare il servizio se non è possibile confermare un'assicurazione adeguata. Le dichiarazioni di autoassicurazione non sono accettabili per attività ad alto rischio.
Recomendações de Cobertura: Para destinos remotos, recomendamos uma cobertura mínima de USD 250.000 para despesas médicas e USD 1.000.000 para evacuação de emergência.
5. Processamento de Pagamento
5.1 Métodos de Pagamento e Requisitos de Depósito
Pagamento do Depósito: Um pagamento de depósito é devido na data de confirmação da reserva. O valor do depósito varia de acordo com o Operador/Prestador de Serviços e será claramente indicado durante o processo de reserva. O pagamento integral pode ser exigido para:
- Reservas de última hora (geralmente dentro de 30-60 dias antes da partida)
- Operadores que exigem pagamento integral no momento da reserva
- Determinadas tarifas promocionais ou ofertas especiais
Conclusão do Pagamento: O saldo restante é devido de acordo com o cronograma de pagamento especificado pelo Operador/Prestador de Serviços, geralmente de 30 a 90 dias antes da partida. Até que o pagamento integral seja recebido, o Operador pode cancelar sua reserva, ou podemos cancelar a reserva em nome do Operador.
Métodos de Pagamento Disponíveis: Os pagamentos podem ser feitos através de:
- Transferência bancária internacional (USD)
- Transferência bancária local em Rúpia Indonésia (IDR) através de serviços como Wise, Revolut ou outros serviços de transferência de dinheiro internacional
- Cartão de crédito (todos os principais cartões) através dos processadores de pagamento Xendit ou Stripe (processado em Rúpia Indonésia - IDR)
- Outros métodos de pagamento online conforme disponíveis
Processamento de Pagamento com Cartão de Crédito: Pagamentos com cartão de crédito através de Xendit ou Stripe são processados em Rúpia Indonésia (IDR). Embora os preços possam ser cotados na sua moeda local para conveniência, o pagamento real será processado em IDR e convertido pelo seu provedor de cartão de crédito ou banco. Taxas adicionais de conversão de moeda podem ser aplicadas e serão cobradas pela sua instituição financeira, não pela Coralbound.
Opção de Transferência Bancária Local: Os clientes também podem enviar transferências bancárias locais em Rúpia Indonésia (IDR) usando serviços de transferência de dinheiro internacional como Wise, Revolut ou plataformas semelhantes. Esta opção pode oferecer taxas de câmbio mais favoráveis em comparação com a conversão de moeda de cartão de crédito. As taxas de transferência cobradas por esses serviços são de responsabilidade do cliente.
Transfer and Payment Processing Costs:
You are responsible for all costs associated with payment transfers to Coralbound, including but not limited to:Incoming SWIFT transfer fees charged by banksCorrespondent bank charges for international wire transfersCurrency conversion fees imposed by financial institutionsPayment processor fees for credit card transactionsMoney transfer service fees (Wise, Revolut, etc.)Any other banking or payment-related chargesCoralbound does not reimburse, cover, or split any transfer costs, fees, or charges incurred during the payment process. All such costs are the sole responsibility of the customer and should be factored into your total trip cost when making payments.
We reserve the right to charge costs incurred for payments that are not performed correctly, including credit card chargebacks, failed bank transfers, or payment disputes. We rely on partner banks and payment service providers for processing services and cannot be held responsible for their performance or availability.
5.2 Payment Confirmation and Documentation
Payment Confirmation: After payment is received, we will send a booking voucher to the email address you provided. This voucher serves as:
- Proof of your confirmed booking
- Invoice for your records
- Required documentation for check-in
Documentation Requirements: Please bring a copy (digital or physical) of your booking voucher when checking in for services and retain a copy for future reference.
5.3 Currency and Pricing
Payment Currency:
- International wire transfers: Payable in USD (US Dollar)
- Local wire transfers: Payable in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) via services like Wise, Revolut, or similar platforms
- Credit card payments: Processed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) through payment processors, regardless of currency displayed during booking
Base Currency Display: All rates are primarily displayed in USD (US Dollar), though credit card payments will be processed in IDR.
Credit Card Currency Processing: When paying by credit card through Xendit or Stripe:
- Payment is processed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)
- Prices may be quoted in your local currency for reference
- Your credit card company or bank will handle currency conversion from IDR
- Conversion rates and fees are determined by your financial institution
- Coralbound receives payment in IDR regardless of your display currency
Currency Conversion Disclaimer: Currency conversion rates displayed on the Platform are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as accurate or real-time. For credit card payments, actual exchange rates applied to your transaction are determined by your payment provider when converting from IDR to your billing currency.
No Platform Currency Fees: Coralbound does not charge currency conversion fees. However, your credit card company or bank may charge conversion fees when processing IDR transactions.
Refund Currency:
- International wire transfer refunds will be made in USD
- Local wire transfer refunds will be made in IDR
- Credit card refunds will be processed in IDR and converted by your card provider
5.4 Pricing Inclusions and Additional Charges

Excluded Surcharges: Unless indicated otherwise, mandatory surcharges are typically not included in Platform pricing, including but not limited to:
- Marine park entrance fees and conservation charges
- Boat dive surcharges and special dive supplements
- Night dive fees and specialty diving charges
- Dive equipment beyond basic gear (tanks, weights, weight belts typically included)
- Government taxes and departure fees
- Fuel surcharges for remote locations
Surcharge Disclosure: Taxes, levies, and surcharges ("Surcharges"), if applicable, are indicated on the Platform during the checkout process for informational purposes.
Post-Booking Surcharge Changes: These surcharges may be subject to change after booking completion based on changes in local conditions beyond Coralbound's control, including:
- Government regulation changes
- Marine park fee adjustments
- Environmental levy modifications
- Currency fluctuation impacts
- Fuel cost variations
No Cancellation Rights for Surcharge Changes: A change in surcharges does not give you the right to cancel a booking or claim a refund from Coralbound or the Operator/Service Provider.
5.5 Promotional Codes and Discounts
Promo Code Availability: Promotional codes may be applicable to qualifying services on the Coralbound Platform. Instructions on how to redeem promotional codes and the specific terms related to each code may vary and will be set out in applicable terms.
Modification Rights: We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotional codes at any time without prior notice.
Operator Confirmation Required: Any promotional discount applied must be confirmed by the Operator/Service Provider. Operators have final authority over honoring promotional pricing.
Special Offers: Periodically, Coralbound may introduce special offers related to services available on the Platform, each governed by distinct payment and cancellation terms. Customers are advised to carefully review and fully understand the terms and conditions presented during the booking process.

5.9 Erreurs de prix et erreurs manifestes

Amendment Approval: Any modifications to confirmed bookings are subject to Operator/Service Provider approval and their specific terms and conditions. The option to modify a confirmed booking is not guaranteed.
Amendment Request Process: You are required to contact us in writing via email at [email protected], including details of the amendments you require. We will then communicate your request to the relevant Operator/Service Provider.
Operator Authority: Any changes or modifications to bookings must be mutually agreed upon and accepted by the Operator/Service Provider, contingent upon availability. Ultimately it is the Operator/Service Provider that determines:
- Whether any amendment can be made
- If amendment fees are applicable and their amounts
- Whether amendments can be made free of charge
- Alternative options if requested changes are unavailable
Amendment Limitations: Amendment requests are subject to:
- Service availability at requested new dates
- Operator policy restrictions
- Seasonal limitations and peak period restrictions
- Price differences for alternative arrangements
- Time restrictions (some operators require advance notice)
No Platform Control: Coralbound facilitates amendment requests but cannot guarantee acceptance or override Operator/Service Provider policies regarding modifications.
6.2 Cancellation Policies
Service Provider Control: Each Operator/Service Provider sets their own cancellation and amendment policies, and therefore different policies may apply to services booked through the Platform. By making a booking, you agree to the specific cancellation policy of the relevant Operator/Service Provider.
Policy Review Requirement: We strongly encourage you to carefully review the Operator/Service Provider's terms, including but not limited to their cancellation policy, before completing your booking.
Refund Processing: To process any refund, Coralbound requires confirmation from the Operator/Service Provider to proceed with such refund. We cannot process refunds without operator authorization.
No-Show Policy: A no-show for any booked trip, course, accommodation, flight, or activity is treated the same as a cancellation made on the day of service. No refunds apply for no-show situations unless specifically covered under the Operator's force majeure policy.
Operator Decision Authority: It is ultimately up to the Operators/Service Providers, which are independent businesses from Coralbound, to make their own decisions on offering refunds or rescheduling options outside of their standard terms and conditions, including but not limited to:
- Supplier cancellations
- Force majeure events
- Weather-related disruptions
- Equipment failures or safety issues
- Government regulation changes
- Health and safety emergencies
Communication Requirements: To avoid misunderstandings and ensure proper documentation, we require all amendment and cancellation requests to be made via email to [email protected]. Requests made through other channels may experience delays or may not be processed.
Platform Role: Coralbound acts as facilitator for amendments and cancellations but cannot override Operator policies, guarantee specific outcomes, or authorize refunds without operator consent.
6.3 Service-Specific Cancellation Terms
Flight-Specific Amendment and Cancellation Terms:
- Domestic flights are subject to airline cancellation policies which may be more restrictive than other services
- Many domestic flight tickets are non-refundable or carry high cancellation fees
- Schedule changes by airlines may allow rebooking but typically do not permit full refunds
- Name changes on flight bookings may incur additional airline fees or may not be permitted
- Date changes subject to availability and fare difference payments
Liveaboard-Specific Terms:
- Liveaboard amendments typically require longer advance notice (30-90 days)
- Peak season changes may be subject to availability limitations
- Cabin category changes subject to availability and price differences
Hotel and Tour Amendment Terms:
- Seasonal restrictions may apply to date changes
- Group size changes may affect pricing and availability
- Service modifications subject to operator capabilities and additional costs
6.4 Administration Fee
In case of refund (partial or full), Coralbound reserves the right to apply a 5% administration fee on the total invoice amount to cover credit card processing fees, payment processor charges (Xendit, Stripe), and bank transfer costs incurred, in addition to the cancellation policy stated by the Operator/Service Provider.
6.5 Force Majeure and Special Circumstances
Operator Cancellation Rights: Operators and Service Providers reserve the right to cancel bookings or suggest providing services at alternative dates when conditions make it unsafe or impractical to provide services at the date(s) specified in the booking confirmation.
Covered Circumstances: Force majeure events include but are not limited to:
- Weather conditions: Poor weather, storms, extreme wind, dangerous sea conditions
- Natural disasters: Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, landslides, fires
- Severe weather events: Tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones, monsoons
- Acts of God: Natural phenomena beyond human control
- Political and social events: Acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil unrest, political instability
- Health emergencies: Pandemics, epidemics, disease outbreaks, quarantine requirements
- Government actions: Emergency declarations, travel restrictions, border closures, lockdowns resulting from health emergencies
- Infrastructure failures: Port closures, airport shutdowns, transportation disruptions
- Marine conditions: Dangerous currents, marine life threats, water quality issues
Operator Decision Authority: Service Providers are independent businesses from Coralbound and have the right and responsibility to make their own decisions regarding:

- Transport supplémentaire pour rejoindre vos services prévus
- Toute partie inutilisée de votre réservation qui ne peut être récupérée
- Frais de rebooking pour les services alternatifs
Crucial pour les croisières: En raison de la nature des opérations de croisière avec des horaires de départ fixes et des lieux éloignés, les passagers qui manquent les heures de départ peuvent ne pas être en mesure de rejoindre le voyage. Aucun remboursement ne sera accordé pour les départs de croisière manqués, sauf si cela est couvert par les dispositions de force majeure.
Crucial pour les vols: Les compagnies aériennes fonctionnent selon des horaires de départ stricts. Operators and Service Providers are not obligated to modify schedules, provide refunds, or arrange alternative services for late arrivals unless specifically agreed in writing at time of booking.
6.7 Service Substitution Rights
Operators and Service Providers reserve the right to substitute vessels, accommodations, tour components, or flights with alternatives of similar or higher standard when necessary due to:
- Technical or safety issues with originally scheduled equipment
- Weather or environmental conditions
- Regulatory or operational requirements
- Force majeure events
For Liveaboards: Operators may substitute the scheduled vessel with another vessel offering similar standards, amenities, and itinerary, provided that safety and comfort levels are maintained. Route modifications may be necessary for safety or regulatory compliance.
For Flights: Airlines may substitute aircraft types, change departure times, or modify routes due to operational requirements. While airlines will attempt to maintain similar departure times and routing, passengers must accept schedule changes within reasonable limits.
Significant downgrades in accommodation standard, major itinerary changes, or substantial flight schedule modifications (more than 4 hours) will entitle you to compensation or alternative arrangements as determined by the Operator's or airline's terms. Minor substitutions for equivalent or superior services do not constitute grounds for refunds or compensation.
7. Third-Party Distribution Channels
7.1 Third-Party Booking Compliance
Services available on the Coralbound Platform may also be made available for booking via third-party distribution channels. When bookings are made through such channels, you are expected to comply with both these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions of the third-party distribution channel where the booking was performed, as applicable.
Dual Compliance: Both sets of terms apply simultaneously, and the more restrictive terms will govern in case of conflicts.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction. We will respond to access, rectification, and restriction requests in a timely manner.
8.2 Data Subject Rights
You have the right to:

- Erasure/deletion (where applicable)
- Withdrawal of consent

- Restrict processing

Direct Communication with Operators: If you or any guest have questions or complaints regarding any aspect of liveaboard trips, diving services, hotels, tours, or flights, please contact the Operator/Service Provider directly as soon as possible. The longer you wait to file complaints, the more difficult it will be for the Operator to resolve the issue.
Operator Responsibility: As outlined in these Terms of Use, the Operator/Service Provider, not Coralbound, is responsible for delivering services correctly. However, if you cannot resolve matters directly with the Operator, please contact us and we will review how we can assist.
Complaint Forwarding: If you file complaints about services provided by Operators/Service Providers directly with us, we will forward your complaint to the relevant Operator without undue delay. This also applies to other messages that should ultimately reach the Operator, including:
- Travel difficulties or delays
- Service modification requests
- Emergency communications
- Special assistance needs during services
9.2 Platform-Related Complaints
Coralbound Service Issues: If your complaint concerns services provided directly by Coralbound, please submit complaints through our official channels:
- Website functionality issues
- Payment processing problems
- Booking process difficulties
- Platform customer service concerns
- Data privacy matters

9.3 Proses Penyelesaian Keluhan

11.1 Platform Availability and Technical Issues
Service Availability: While we strive to maintain continuous Platform availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates
- Technical difficulties or server issues
- Internet connectivity problems
- Force majeure events
- Security-related shutdowns
No Liability for Downtime: Coralbound is not liable for any losses, damages, or missed booking opportunities resulting from Platform unavailability, technical issues, or maintenance downtime. We recommend completing time-sensitive bookings well in advance of departure dates.
System Maintenance: We may perform maintenance during periods that may affect Platform accessibility. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

- Website and social media marketing
- Brochures and promotional materials
- Travel guides and destination content
- Newsletter and email marketing
Opt-Out Rights: You may request removal of specific photographs or videos featuring you by contacting us at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to remove or replace such content, though immediate removal cannot be guaranteed due to printing schedules and third-party usage.
No Compensation: No compensation will be provided for the use of photographs or videos in marketing materials.
11.9 Marketing Communications and Consent
Email Marketing: By creating an account and making bookings through the Platform, you consent to receive marketing communications from Coralbound, including:

- Special offers and promotional pricing

Images displayed on the Platform are provided by respective Operators/Service Providers. Copyright and ownership of images remain with their original owners. Coralbound uses these images based on permission granted by Operators/Service Providers for the purpose of promoting their services.
12.2 Image Use Restrictions
You are not permitted to:
- Download, copy, or use images for commercial purposes
- Redistribute images without written permission from copyright owners
- Use images for purposes outside the Coralbound Platform
- Remove or alter watermarks or copyright attributions
12.3 Platform Intellectual Property Rights
All Platform content (except third-party owned images), including text, design, logos, and functionality, belongs to Coralbound and is protected by intellectual property law.
Database Rights: Coralbound's compilation of pricing data, availability information, service descriptions, and booking data constitutes proprietary database rights. Unauthorized extraction, reproduction, or commercial use of this compiled information is strictly prohibited.
API and Data Usage: Any automated access to Platform data, including but not limited to scraping, crawling, or API usage, is prohibited without express written consent from Coralbound.
13. Warranty Disclaimers
13.1 Comprehensive Warranty Disclaimer
No Warranties: Coralbound makes no warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed, implied, or statutory, with respect to:
- The Platform and its functionality
- The booking system and reservation processes
- Operator/Service Provider information and descriptions
- Service terms and conditions provided by third parties
- The quality, safety, or delivery of services booked through the Platform
- Any other aspect of our services or platform
13.2 Exclusion of All Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we specifically disclaim all warranties including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose warranties
- Non-infringement warranties
- Accuracy or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free platform operation
- Security of data transmission or storage
13.3 Comprehensive Liability Exclusion
No Liability for Damages: In no event will Coralbound or its affiliated companies, directors, employees, agents, or contractors be liable for any cost, loss, damage, or injury whatsoever, including but not limited to:
Personal and Physical Damages:

- Descripciones o imágenes de servicios incorrectas
- Errores de traducción o falta de comunicación
Acciones de terceros:
- Cualquier acto u omisión de los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios o sus directores, funcionarios, agentes, empleados o contratistas
- Todas las reclamaciones relacionadas con reservas o servicios prestados por terceros
- Fallos de equipos, incidentes de seguridad o problemas de calidad del servicio
- Cancelaciones, retrasos o modificaciones por parte de los proveedores de servicios
13.4 Flexibilidad del itinerario y del servicio
Itinerarios de muestra solamente: Donde los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios proporcionen información relacionada con el itinerario y el área de buceo, esta debe considerarse como información de muestra solamente y no es vinculante para el Operador/Proveedor de Servicios. Los itinerarios publicados, sitios de buceo, rutas y horarios de actividades son ejemplos indicativos de los servicios planificados, pero no constituyen compromisos garantizados.
Discreción del Operador: En todo momento, los Operadores/Proveedores de Servicios pueden optar por:
- Take different routes or visit alternative locations
- Modify diving areas or activity sites
- Adjust schedules and timing
- Substitute planned activities with suitable alternatives
- Change vessel mooring or departure locations
Reasons for Changes: Itinerary modifications may occur due to:
- Weather conditions and sea state safety requirements
- Specific customer requests or group preferences
- Acts of God and natural disasters
- Force majeure events beyond operator control
- Government regulations or marine park restrictions
- Equipment considerations or vessel maintenance needs
- Safety assessments by crew or dive masters
- Marine life protection requirements
- Local authority directives or port restrictions
No Compensation for Changes: Reasonable itinerary modifications made for safety, weather, or operational reasons do not entitle customers to refunds, compensation, or alternative arrangements from either the Operator/Service Provider or Coralbound.
Safety Priority: All itinerary decisions prioritize the safety and wellbeing of guests, crew, and marine environments over adherence to published schedules.
13.5 Information Accuracy Limitations
Service Provider Information: Information displayed on the Platform (including service descriptions, images, videos, pricing, and availability) is based on information provided to Coralbound by Operators/Service Providers (the "Service Provider Information"). Coralbound does not guarantee that this information is reliable, accurate, up-to-date, complete, or free from errors.
Information Sources: While we make reasonable efforts to verify information accuracy, we rely on third parties for:
- Service descriptions and itineraries
- Vessel specifications and amenities
- Pricing and availability data
- Images and promotional materials
- Safety certifications and standards
Dynamic Information: Travel information changes frequently, and we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of:
- Condiciones meteorológicas e información estacional
- Disponibilidad y capacidad del servicio

- Horarios operativos e itinerarios

14. Limitaciones de responsabilidad y descargos de responsabilidad
14.1 Naturaleza del Acuerdo de Reserva
Contrato Directo: Su reserva constituye un acuerdo directo entre usted y el Operador/Proveedor de Servicios. Coralbound actúa únicamente como intermediario y minorista de reservas, y por lo tanto no puede ser considerado responsable si los servicios no coinciden con lo acordado en su reserva. No Responsibility for Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible or liable for any losses, damages, or incidents you suffer, including but not limited to:
Travel-Related Losses:
- Missed flights, connections, or transportation delays
- Flight or transfer delays or cancellations
- Lost baggage or personal belongings
- Additional accommodation or meal costs due to delays
Personal Safety and Health:
- Personal injuries sustained during any booked services
- Property damage occurring during travel or activities
- Wrongful death that may occur during liveaboard trips, diving activities, tours, or other services
- Medical emergencies or health complications
- Diving accidents including decompression sickness or equipment failures
Third-Party Actions:
- Acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of Operators/Service Providers
- Actions of other guests, crew members, or third parties
- Equipment failures or mechanical issues with vessels, aircraft, or other equipment
- Natural disasters, weather conditions, or environmental hazards
14.4 Operator Amendment Rights
Service Modifications: Operators/Service Providers may amend bookings when deemed necessary, in line with booking terms and applicable law. Coralbound cannot be held liable for:
- Disputes between guests and Operators/Service Providers
- Damages arising from service amendments or modifications
- Compensation decisions made by Operators
- Alternative arrangements offered by Operators
14.5 Maximum Liability Cap
Insurance Coverage Limitation: If, regardless of the provisions in this section, Coralbound is held responsible and/or liable for any costs incurred by you or your guests, our liability is strictly limited to:
Primary Limitation: The amount paid out under our professional liability insurance coverage, if applicable to the specific claim.
Secondary Limitation: If damages are not covered by our insurance, our liability is limited to the commission/markup amount actually received by Coralbound for the specific service(s) that gave rise to the claim.
Commission/Markup Calculation: For the purposes of liability limitation, "commission/markup" means:
- For commission-based services (some liveaboards): The commission percentage paid by the Service Provider
- For markup-based services (flights, hotels, tours): The markup added to the net price received from the Service Provider
- In both cases calculated as the difference between the amount you paid to Coralbound and the net amount Coralbound paid to or owes the Service Provider
No Additional Liability: Under no circumstances will Coralbound's total liability exceed these amounts, regardless of the nature or severity of the claim.
14.6 Exclusion of Consequential Damages
Coralbound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Indenização do Usuário: Você concorda em defender e indenizar a Coralbound, suas controladoras, afiliadas e subsidiárias, e quaisquer de seus executivos, diretores, funcionários e agentes contra quaisquer e todas as reclamações, causas de ação, demandas, recuperações, perdas, danos, multas, penalidades ou outros custos ou despesas de qualquer tipo ou natureza, incluindo, mas não se limitando a, taxas legais e contábeis razoáveis, movidas por terceiros como resultado de:
- Sua violação destes Termos de Uso ou documentos aqui referenciados
- Sua violação de qualquer lei ou dos direitos de terceiros
- Seu uso da Plataforma
- Sua participação em serviços ou atividades reservadas
- Sua falha em cumprir os requisitos do Operador/Prestador de Serviços
- Seu fornecimento de informações falsas ou enganosas
Reclamações de Terceiros: Esta indenização inclui, mas não se limita a, reclamações decorrentes de acidentes, lesões, danos à propriedade ou outros incidentes ocorridos durante o seu uso de serviços reservados.
14.9 Reconhecimento de Risco de Mergulho e Atividades
Aviso de Risco Inerente: A Coralbound não pode ser responsabilizada e não aceitará responsabilidade por lesões pessoais, danos à propriedade ou morte injusta que possam ocorrer durante as atividades, incluindo, mas não se limitando a:
- Riscos inerentes associados ao mergulho com cilindro, mergulho livre, snorkeling
- Quaisquer atividades aquáticas ou de aventura oferecidas por Operadores/Prestadores de Serviços
- Atos ou omissões de terceiros, incluindo Operadores, tripulação, guias ou outros participantes
- Falhas de equipamento ou condições ambientais
- Encontros com vida marinha ou perigos subaquáticos
Recomendação de Seguro: A Coralbound recomenda fortemente que você adquira uma apólice de seguro contra acidentes de mergulho ou garanta que o mergulho com cilindro, mergulho livre, snorkeling ou quaisquer atividades oferecidas pelos Prestadores de Serviços estejam incluídas em seu seguro de viagem abrangente.
Participação em Atividades: Ao reservar atividades através da Plataforma, você reconhece o entendimento e a assunção de todos os riscos inerentes associados a viagens de aventura e atividades aquáticas.
14.10 Reconhecimento do Cliente
Ao fazer uma reserva, você reconhece e concorda que:
- Você entende os riscos inerentes associados a viagens, mergulho e atividades de aventura
- Você está contratando principalmente com Operadores/Prestadores de Serviços, não com a Coralbound
- Você possui cobertura de seguro de viagem e médica adequada
- Você aceita as limitações de responsabilidade estabelecidas nestes Termos
- Você entende que o papel da Coralbound é limitado à facilitação de reservas
15. Diversos
15.1 Alterações nos Termos
Podemos alterar estes Termos e Condições a qualquer momento. A versão mais recente será sempre aplicável a partir da data e hora de publicação. O uso contínuo da Plataforma após as alterações constitui aceitação dos novos termos.
15.2 Separabilidade
Si alguna disposición de estos Términos y Condiciones se considera ilegal, nula o inaplicable, esto no alterará la validez y aplicabilidad de las disposiciones restantes. La disposición inválida será reemplazada por una disposición válida que se acerque más a la intención original.
