Neomi Cruise

Neomi Cruise is a 47-metre traditional Buginese phinisi built from ironwood, launched in 2018 and carrying up to 20 guests across 10 en-suite cabins on four decks. Itineraries run across Komodo, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, and Alor, with an annual crossing trip between Raja Ampat and Komodo.

A boat that works for non-divers too

Most liveaboards treat snorkellers as an afterthought. Neomi Cruise doesn't: snorkel excursions are briefed and guided as thoroughly as the dives, with an experienced snorkel guide leading each outing, and a separate, lower rate for guests who snorkel instead of dive. It's one of the more snorkeler-friendly setups in the fleet, well suited to mixed groups where not everyone dives.

The boat itself backs that up. Most cabins have sea-view windows rather than portholes and a private balcony, and common areas lean toward comfort — two Jacuzzis on the outdoor lounge, a karaoke lounge, and dedicated fishing charters for guests who want a day off the water altogether.

Cabins and comfort

Ten cabins spread across four decks, all with private bathrooms, hot and cold water, and individual air conditioning. Every cabin has its own TV, which isn't standard on most liveaboards, and nearly all cabins are adjustable between a king setup or twin beds. The Master cabin adds a private balcony, a 42-inch TV, a private water heater, a private bathtub, and a mini refrigerator. Upper and middle deck cabins also have private balconies and a 32-inch TV; lower deck cabins share water heaters and are fitted with an emergency exit.

Diving facilities

Diving runs through a full compressor setup with air fills to 200 bar and INT and DIN valve compatibility, backed by two aluminium tenders each with twin 50HP Yamaha engines. Every guest carries an ENOS diver locator, and a dedicated camera station and Starlink Maritime WiFi round out the setup. Groups stay small, with guiding kept personal rather than run at scale.

Nitrox is available at an extra charge, along with dive equipment rental and national park entrance fees (charged separately by region).

Itineraries

Neomi Cruise's routes generally run shorter than the norm, well suited to guests working with limited time. For the 2026/2027 season, rates start from $407 per person per day for divers, with the lower snorkeler rate applying across the same routes.
