Aqua Blu er et 60 meter luksuriøst ekspeditionsyacht med plads til 30 gæster fordelt på 15 individuelt designede suiter på 5 dæk, drevet af Aqua Expeditions. Oprindeligt bygget som det britiske Royal Navy undersøgelsesskib HMS Beagle i 1968 og omfattende renoveret i 2019, sejler fartøjet 7 til 14-nætters rejseplaner på tværs af Komodo, Raja Ampat, Krydderiøerne, Asmat og Vestpapua. Dykning, snorkling, kajakroning og guidede vandreture er alt inkluderet. For 2026/2027 sæsonen, starter priserne fra USD $1.300 per person per dag.
Aqua Blu er en kategori for sig på det indonesiske liveaboard-marked. Oprindeligt bygget som HMS Beagle for den britiske Royal Navy i 1968 – samme navn som Charles Darwins historiske undersøgelsesskib – blev hun ombygget til en privat yacht i 2002 og renoveret i 2019 under Aqua Expeditions til det ekspeditionsyacht, hun er i dag, med interiør af den hollandske yachtdesigner Cor D. Rover og køkken af den australske kok Benjamin Cross. Aqua Expeditions driver en global flåde af små ekspeditionsfartøjer – både til havs og på floder – på tværs af Indonesien, Peru (Amazonas), Galapagos, Seychellerne, Arktis og Sydøstasien (Mekong). Aqua Blu er deres indonesiske flagskib og den eneste langtrækkende ekspeditionsyacht, der permanent er baseret i Østindonesien, overholder RINA, SOLAS og ISM klassifikationer og er udstyret med Quantum Zero Speed stabilisatorer for komfort under alle søforhold. Fire 660HK Lister Blackstone motorer giver en marchhastighed på 10-12 knob på tværs af en rækkevidde, der dækker hele bredden af det østlige Indonesien.
Femten individuelt designede suiter i tre kategorier fordelt på fem dæk. Kategori I suiter er i gennemsnit 25-34 kvm og inkluderer de største kahytter ombord – flere med split-level indretning, walk-in garderobeskabe, sofaer og overdimensionerede badeværelser, nogle med badekar. Kategori II suiter er i gennemsnit 24 kvm med store vinduer eller koøjer og generøs opholdsplads. Kategori III suiter på ca. 14 kvm er de mest kompakte, velegnede til solorejsende eller teenagere, hver med to koøjer og veludstyrede badeværelser. Alle suiter vender ud mod havet med king-size eller twin-senge, regnbruser, Nespresso-maskiner, elektroniske pengeskabe og økologiske toiletartikler. Kahytter 301 og 302 kan sammenlægges for at danne en suite med to rum; kahytter 401 og 402 kan forbindes for at skabe en suite på øverste dæk med direkte adgang til broen. Fællesområder fordelt på fem dæk inkluderer en indendørs salon og spisestue, indendørs og udendørs bar, sky lounge bar, observationsdæk, udendørs jacuzzi, spa- og massagerum, udendørs træningszone, bibliotek med tv og soldæk.
Alle måltider, alkoholfrie drikkevarer, husets vine og øl, vaskeri, højhastigheds-WiFi og gruppeforplejning er inkluderet. Udflugter på alle rejseplaner inkluderer dykning, snorkling, kajakroning, stand-up paddleboarding og guidede vandreture, ledet af tre naturvejledere ombord, herunder en dykkervejleder. Cabin 402 is a 30 sqm Category I cabin on the bridge deck, featuring a double bed, a separate sitting room with a sofa, side table, and two armchairs, large windows, and a compact en-suite bathroom with a large shower. A sofa bed accommodates a third guest, up to a maximum capacity of 3. This is one of the vessel's largest cabins, with direct access to the bridge deck area. Cabins 401 and 402 can be joined to form a two-room suite at the top of the ship with direct deck access to the bridge.
