What is the payment schedule for liveaboard bookings?

Accepted Answer

Booking is easy - a 50% deposit secures your spot immediately, with the remaining balance due 40 days before departure. If you're booking within 40 days of your trip, full payment is required to confirm your reservation. For expedition liveaboard trips (9 days or longer) or Christmas and New Year’s trips, full payment is required at least 70 days before departure. 
Popular routes book 6-12 months or even further, so we recommend securing your spot early.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept international bank transfers as well as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB credit cards (processed securely through third-party payment processors). Most guests prefer bank transfers. Just note that transfers typically take 3-5 business days to process, so please plan accordingly if you're booking close to your departure date.

It's simple and transparent. As authorized agents, we have direct access to operator booking systems—we place holds on available cabins instantly.

Once the operator confirms your hold, we'll send you the booking total via email along with payment details based on your preferred method. After payment, your booking is confirmed and you can add guest details through your Coralbound account dashboard. We'll remind you before final payment is due, and you'll be cleared for boarding once the operator has all the details.
