La Galigo ist ein 33 Meter langes traditionelles Phinisi-Liveaboard , das 2012 von Bugis-Handwerkern aus Bira, Süd-Sulawesi, aus Eisenholz und Teakholz gebaut wurde. Es bietet Platz für 14 Gäste in 7 Kabinen in drei Klassen – Deluxe, Master und Suite – und bietet 6 bis 12-tägige Routen durch Raja Ampat, Komodo Nationalpark, Lembeh und Halmahera. Für die Saison 2026/2027 beginnen die Preise ab 350 USD pro Person und Tag.
La Galigo ist ein traditioneller zweimastiger Phinisi-Schoner, der 2012 von Meisterhandwerkern aus Bira, Süd-Sulawesi, gebaut wurde – einer Gemeinschaft, deren Schiffbautradition Jahrhunderte zurückreicht. Der Rumpf ist aus Kayu Besi Eisenholz mit Teakholz-Interieur gefertigt, was dem Schiff eine Gesamtverdrängung von über 169 Bruttoregistertonnen verleiht. Das von einem erfahrenen Liveaboard-Taucher entworfene und verwaltete Boot priorisiert die Tauchfunktionalität, ohne auf Komfort zu verzichten, mit einer speziellen Tauchplattform, einem schallgedämmten Maschinenraum und Nitrox an Bord.
Die Gäste werden in sieben Kabinen in drei Kategorien untergebracht. Vier Deluxe-Kabinen im Unterdeck messen jeweils 12 m² mit eigenem Bad, Klimaanlage und amerikanischen Federkernmatratzen – tief im Rumpf positioniert für Gäste, die zu Seekrankheit neigen. Zwei Master-Kabinen im Oberdeck bieten 14 m² mit eigenem Bad und direktem Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang. Die Suite, ebenfalls im Oberdeck, bietet 22 m² mit einem 48-Zoll-HD-Fernseher, einer privaten Lounge und einem 270-Grad-Panorama-Balkon – die geräumigste Kabine des Schiffes.
Für die Saison 2026/2027 bietet La Galigo 6- bis 12-tägige Routen durch Raja Ampat, den Komodo-Nationalpark, Lembeh, Halmahera und den Bangka-Sangihe-Archipel an. Bis zu vier Tauchgänge werden täglich mit kleinen Gruppen angeboten, unterstützt durch Aqualung- und Scubapro-Leihausrüstung, 32% Nitrox, SMBs, Riffhaken und Tauchcomputer sind kostenlos enthalten. Die Sicherheitsausrüstung umfasst einen Defibrillator, einen EPIRB-Notfallortungsgerät, 12 Stunden Notfallsauerstoff und Rettungsflöße für alle Gäste.

La Galigo's Suite is located at the aft of the upper deck and measures 22 sqm. It features a king bed, a private balcony, a separate lounge area with sofa and TV, wraparound windows, individually controlled air conditioning, a private refrigerator, and a private ensuite bathroom with hot shower and toilet.
