Scubaspa ZEN

Scubaspa ZEN is a 53-meter traditional Phinisi liveaboard built in 2012, accommodating 20 guests across 9 suites. The only liveaboard in Indonesia combining a dedicated spa, daily yoga, and a separate dive dhoni as a floating dive center. For the 2026/2027 season, the vessel operates 7 to 12-night itineraries across Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea, Triton Bay, and Cenderawasih Bay. Rates starting from USD $620 per person per day.

Scubaspa ZEN is the Indonesian vessel of Scubaspa, an operator whose Maldives fleet — Scubaspa Ying and Scubaspa Yang — pioneered the luxury dive-and-spa liveaboard concept and earned multiple industry awards including consecutive South Asian Leading Liveaboard titles, Maldives Boating Brand of the Year, and PADI 5-Star Dive Resort status as the first floating platforms in the Maldives to receive that recognition. ZEN brings the same service blueprint to Indonesia — high staff-to-guest ratio, dedicated spa therapists, and premium dining — adapted into a traditional 53-meter Phinisi hull built by Konjo boatbuilders of South Sulawesi. A crew of 26 serves 20 guests, including two spa therapists, a yoga master, and three chefs.

Guests book one of three packages: a Scuba package for certified divers, a Spa and Active Wellness package combining spa treatments with guided snorkeling for non-divers, or a combined Scuba and Spa package — making ZEN one of the very few Indonesian liveaboards that genuinely caters to mixed groups of divers and non-diving partners. Daily morning yoga classes, an open-air cinema, non-motorized water sports, island BBQs, and guided excursions are included across all packages. The five-star spa at the stern of the vessel offers 19 treatments including Balinese, Swedish, Shiatsu, hot stone, and specialist divers' massages, using organic products made exclusively in Bali for Scubaspa.

Nine suites accommodate 20 guests across two decks. On the main deck, the Owner Manta Suite, Cowrie Suite, and Dolphin Suite are the flagship accommodations. Six Sea Star Suites on the lower deck complete the layout. All suites feature boutique-crafted interiors with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, premium bath products, deluxe linens, and multiple electrical outlets. Dining is served in a spacious al fresco restaurant on the main deck — buffet-style for breakfast and lunch, à la carte for dinner — with live cooking evenings showcasing Asian, Mediterranean, and Continental cuisine. A dedicated bar at the bow offers wines, champagnes, and handcrafted cocktails with daily happy hour.

Diving operates from a dedicated 21-meter dive dhoni — a separate floating dive center that keeps compressors, tanks, and dive stations off the main vessel entirely, preserving calm and cleanliness onboard. Nitrox is available on the dive dhoni at an additional charge. Up to 26 dives are included on a 12-night Scuba package itinerary. Nautilus LifeLine GPS units are provided per buddy team. Destinations for the 2026/2027 season cover Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, Banda Sea and Forgotten Islands, Triton Bay, and Cenderawasih Bay.
