Sea Safari VI ist ein 36 Meter lange traditionelle Phinisi-Tauchbasis aus Ulin-Eisenholz, das Platz für 20 Gäste in 10 Kabinen mit eigenem Bad auf 4 Decks bietet. Als Teil der Sea Safari Cruises Flotte, die seit 1988 operiert, fährt das Schiff Routen durch Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda-See und Alor. Nitrox ist an Bord verfügbar. Für die Saison 2026/2027 beginnen die Preise bei 360 USD pro Person und Tag.
Die Sea Safari VI ist das mittelgroße Schiff der Sea Safari Cruises Flotte und liegt zwischen der Cheng Ho für 26 Gäste und der Sea Safari 8 für 24 Gäste. Mit Sitz in Sorong, West-Papua, ist sie gut für Raja Ampat als Hauptziel positioniert, wobei Komodo, die Banda-See und Alor im saisonalen Fahrplan enthalten sind. Wie ihre Flottenpartner Cheng Ho und Sea Safari 8 wurde sie 2020 renoviert und im eigenen Haus aus Ulin-Eisenholz gebaut – einem dichten tropischen Hartholz, das für seine Haltbarkeit in Salzwasserbedingungen geschätzt wird. Die 37 Jahre kontinuierlichen indonesischen Tauchbasisbetriebs des Betreibers bieten eine starke Vertrauensbasis für ein Schiff dieser Kategorie.
Zehn Kabinen bieten Platz für 20 Gäste in zwei Konfigurationen auf dem Oberdeck, alle mit eigenem Bad mit Warm- und Kaltwasserduschen. Sechs Doppelkabinen und vier Zweibettkabinen verfügen jeweils über Klimaanlage, Bademäntel und Handtücher, einen Safe und Handdesinfektionsmittel. Gemeinschaftsbereiche erstrecken sich über vier Decks mit einem Indoor-Restaurant, Indoor- und Outdoor-Loungebereichen, einem Sonnendeck mit Liegen, einem Whirlpool, einem speziellen Tauchdeck und einer Kamera-Station. Kajaks und Stand-Up-Paddleboards stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.
Das Tauchen wird von zwei Aluminium-Speedbooten, einem ENOS-Taucherortungssystem für jeden Taucher und EAN 32% Nitrox an Bord unterstützt. Die Navigationsausrüstung umfasst Furuno GPS, Koden Radar und Echolot, EPIRB, Satellitentelefon sowie VHF- und SSB-Funk. Für die Saison 2026/2027 decken die Routen Raja Ampat, den Komodo-Nationalpark, die Banda-See und Alor ab.
