White Manta ist ein 46 Meter langes Stahlrumpf-Tauchboot und eines der größten speziell gebauten Tauchschiffe der Region, das bis zu 24 Gäste in 14 Kabinen mit eigenem Bad, durchschnittlich 20 qm, verteilt auf drei Decks, unterbringt. Für die Saison 2026/2027 befährt das Schiff Routen durch Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Banda Sea und Halmahera, mit einer Besatzung von 20 Personen. Einzelkabinen-Zuschlag nur 20 %. Preise ab 392 USD pro Person und Tag.
Die White Manta ist das größere der beiden von White Manta Diving betriebenen Stahlrumpfschiffe und misst 46 Meter in der Länge, 10 Meter in der Breite und verdrängt 580 Tonnen. Sie verfügt über eine RINA CLASS-Zertifizierung – ausgestellt von der italienischen Klassifikationsgesellschaft Registro Italiano Navale, einer der weltweit führenden unabhängigen Stellen für Sicherheit und Schiffbaustandards. Sie fährt mit 10 Knoten mit Doppelmotoren und zwei Generatoren, speziell entwickelt für Langstreckenfahrten und Hochseereisen, bei denen Stabilität und Reichweite wichtig sind und Holzrumpfschiffe im Nachteil sind.
Vierzehn Kabinen mit eigenem Bad auf drei Decks bieten Platz für bis zu 24 Gäste in Zweibett-, Doppel- und Dreibettzimmerkonfigurationen. Die Kabinen auf dem Unterdeck verfügen über Bullaugen, die Kabinen auf dem Hauptdeck über Meerblickfenster und die Kabinen auf dem Oberdeck über die größten Fenster und das beste Tageslicht an Bord. Alle Kabinen sind durchschnittlich 20 qm groß und verfügen über individuelle Klimatisierung, private Badezimmer, ausreichend Stauraum und Mehrfachsteckdosen. Alleinreisende profitieren von einem Einzelkabinen-Zuschlag von nur 20 % über dem Standardpreis. Fünf Mahlzeiten werden täglich von Bordköchen zubereitet, mit klimatisierten Innenbereichen und Außenbereichen zum Essen im Freien. Zwei Bord-Masseure und ein teilweise schattiges Sonnendeck mit Liegestühlen und Tagesbetten runden das Erlebnis über Wasser ab.
Das Tauchen wird in kleinen Gruppen von vier Gästen pro Guide durchgeführt, unterstützt von vier Beibooten und drei Kompressoren mit einem Nitrox-Membransystem – Nitrox ist gegen Aufpreis erhältlich. Der spezielle Innenraum für Kameras bietet individuelle Ladestationen, Stauraum und Trocknungsmöglichkeiten für Unterwasserfotografen, ergänzt durch einen Arbeitsbereich im Freien auf dem Tauchdeck. Für die Saison 2026/2027 umfassen die Routen Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, Halmahera, Sangalaki sowie saisonale Überquerungen der Molukken- und Celebes-See. An Bord steht eine 24-Stunden-Satelliten-WLAN-Verbindung zur Verfügung.
