Aqua Blu es un yate de expedición de lujo de 60 metros con capacidad para 30 huéspedes en 15 suites diseñadas individualmente en 5 cubiertas, operado por Aqua Expeditions. Originalmente construido como el buque de reconocimiento de la Marina Real Británica HMS Beagle en 1968 y reformado integralmente en 2019, el buque realiza itinerarios de 7 a 14 noches por Komodo, Raja Ampat, las Islas de las Especias, Asmat y Papúa Occidental. Aqua Blu es una categoría única en el mercado de liveaboards indonesios. Construido originalmente como HMS Beagle para la Marina Real Británica en 1968 —el mismo nombre que el histórico buque de reconocimiento de Charles Darwin— fue convertido en yate privado en 2002 y reformado en 2019 bajo Aqua Expeditions al yate de expedición que es hoy, con interiores del diseñador de yates holandés Cor D. Rover y cocina del chef australiano Benjamin Cross. Aqua Expeditions opera una flota global de pequeños buques de expedición, tanto oceánicos como fluviales, en Indonesia, Perú (Amazonas), las Galápagos, las Seychelles, el Ártico y el Sudeste Asiático (Mekong). Aqua Blu es su buque insignia indonesio y el único yate de expedición de largo alcance con base permanente en el este de Indonesia, cumpliendo con las clasificaciones RINA, SOLAS e ISM y equipado con estabilizadores Quantum Zero Speed para mayor comodidad en cualquier condición de mar. Quince suites diseñadas individualmente en tres categorías abarcan cinco cubiertas. Las suites de Categoría I promedian entre 25 y 34 m² e incluyen las cabinas más grandes a bordo, varias con distribución en dos niveles, vestidores, sofás y baños de gran tamaño, algunas con bañera. Las suites de Categoría II promedian 24 m² con grandes ventanales u ojos de buey y un generoso espacio habitable. Las suites de Categoría III, de aproximadamente 14 m², son las más compactas, adecuadas para viajeros solitarios o adolescentes, cada una con dos ojos de buey y baños bien equipados. Todas las suites dan al mar con camas king o twin, duchas de lluvia, máquinas Nespresso, cajas fuertes electrónicas y artículos de tocador orgánicos. Las cabinas 301 y 302 se pueden unir para formar una suite de dos habitaciones; las cabinas 401 y 402 se conectan para crear una suite en la cubierta superior con acceso directo al puente. At 30 sqm, this is one of the largest cabins on board, located on the bridge deck with direct access to the bridge deck area. A king bed and a separate sitting room — furnished with a sofa, side table, and two armchairs — are lit by large windows throughout. The bathroom is more compact, though a large shower makes up for it. Cabin 402 can be joined with the adjoining Cabin 401 to form a two-room suite at the top of the ship, with direct deck access to the bridge.

These 25 sqm cabins on the forecastle deck are among the best on board, each with a king bed, two very large windows looking out onto the side deck, and the only walk-in wardrobes on the ship. The spacious en-suite bathrooms include a makeup vanity and a porthole looking out onto the deck. Cabin 302 can be joined with the adjoining Cabin 301 to form a two-room suite.

These 30 sqm twin-bedded cabins on the main deck are lit by three large oval windows and finished with generous storage throughout. Cabin 202 includes a sofa, coffee table, and armchair, with a bathroom large enough to comfortably accommodate two guests at once — well suited to couples travelling with a child. Cabin 204 adds a dedicated desk area alongside its coffee table, armchair, and sofa, with the same spacious en-suite, making it a good fit for a family of three.

Cabins 104 and 105 have a split-level layout with four porthole windows and a coffee table, suiting a family of three, while Cabin 101 offers a large sofa, armchair, and desk area with three standard portholes plus an additional porthole in the bathroom. Cabin 101's en-suite is the only one on board with a soaking tub in addition to the shower; located near the steering compartment, it may carry slight noise on overnight journeys for light sleepers.
