Aqua Blu er en 60 meter luksuriøs ekspedisjonsyacht med plass til 30 gjester fordelt på 15 individuelt designede suiter på 5 dekk, drevet av Aqua Expeditions. Opprinnelig bygget som det britiske Royal Navy-undersøkelsesskipet HMS Beagle i 1968 og omfattende renovert i 2019, går fartøyet 7 til 14-netters reiseruter over Komodo, Raja Ampat, Krydderøyene, Asmat og Vest-Papua. Dykking, snorkling, kajakkpadling og guidede fotturer er alt inkludert. For 2026/2027-sesongen, starter prisene fra USD 1 300 per person per dag.
Aqua Blu er en kategori for seg i det indonesiske liveaboard-markedet. Opprinnelig bygget som HMS Beagle for den britiske marinen i 1968 – samme navn som Charles Darwins historiske undersøkelsesskip – ble hun omgjort til en privat yacht i 2002 og renovert i 2019 under Aqua Expeditions til ekspedisjonsyachten hun er i dag, med interiør av den nederlandske yachtdesigneren Cor D. Rover og mat av den australske kokken Benjamin Cross. Aqua Expeditions driver en global flåte av små ekspedisjonsfartøy – både til havs og på elv – over Indonesia, Peru (Amazonas), Galapagos, Seychellene, Arktis og Sørøst-Asia (Mekong). Aqua Blu er deres indonesiske flaggskip og den eneste langtrekkende ekspedisjonsyachten som permanent er basert i Øst-Indonesia, i samsvar med RINA, SOLAS og ISM-klassifiseringer og utstyrt med Quantum Zero Speed-stabilisatorer for komfort i alle sjøforhold. Fire 660 hk Lister Blackstone-motorer gir en marsjfart på 10–12 knop over en rekkevidde som dekker hele bredden av Øst-Indonesia.
Femten individuelt designede suiter i tre kategorier spenner over fem dekk. Kategori I-suiter er i gjennomsnitt 25–34 kvm og inkluderer de største lugarene om bord – flere med delt nivå, walk-in-garderober, sofaer og overdimensjonerte bad, noen med badekar. Kategori II-suiter er i gjennomsnitt 24 kvm med store vinduer eller koøyer og sjenerøs stueplass. Kategori III-suiter på ca. 14 kvm er de mest kompakte, egnet for enslige reisende eller tenåringer, hver med to koøyer og velutstyrte bad. Alle suiter vender mot havet med king-size eller separate senger, regndusjer, Nespresso-maskiner, elektroniske safebokser og økologiske toalettartikler. Lugarene 301 og 302 kan slås sammen for å danne en to-roms suite; lugarene 401 og 402 kan kobles sammen for å danne en suite på øverste dekk med direkte tilgang til broen. Fellesområder spenner over fem dekk og inkluderer en innendørs salong og spisestue, innendørs og utendørs bar, sky lounge-bar, observasjonsdekk, utendørs boblebad, spa- og massasjerom, utendørs treningssone, bibliotek med TV og soldekk.
Alle måltider, alkoholfrie drikkevarer, husets vin og øl, klesvask, høyhastighets WiFi og gruppereiser er inkludert. Utflukter på alle reiseruter inkluderer dykking, snorkling, kajakkpadling, stand-up paddleboarding og guidede fotturer, ledet av tre naturguider om bord, inkludert en dykkeguide. Maten overvåkes av kokken Benjamin Cross, hvis 20-årige karriere omfatter Michelin-stjernede restauranter i Australia, USA og Spania, med menyer som henter inspirasjon fra Indonesias krydderhandelsarv og ferske lokale råvarer. Cabin 402 is a 30 sqm Category I cabin on the bridge deck, featuring a double bed, a separate sitting room with a sofa, side table, and two armchairs, large windows, and a compact en-suite bathroom with a large shower. A sofa bed accommodates a third guest, up to a maximum capacity of 3. This is one of the vessel's largest cabins, with direct access to the bridge deck area. Cabins 401 and 402 can be joined to form a two-room suite at the top of the ship with direct deck access to the bridge.
