Led by a man who's been finding new dive sites in eastern Indonesia since 1982, and a rate that covers almost everything from welcome cocktails to unrestricted Starlink WiFi. Seven Seas is now on Coralbound.
This is a platform announcement. If you're here to plan an Indonesia liveaboard trip, start with the Indonesia liveaboard guide.
Seven Seas
Seven Seas has completed more than 300 trips and 100,000 dives since launching, run by Mark Heighes, who first travelled to Indonesia as a dive guide in 1982 and was leading trips across the Banda Sea by the mid-1980s. He's regarded as one of the true pioneers of diving in the region, having found more dive sites in eastern Indonesia than most operators in the business. A crew of 18 runs the boat day to day, including full-time Cruise Director Angel Martin, who has logged more than 6,000 dives across Komodo, Sumbawa, the Banda Sea, the Forgotten Islands, East of Flores, and Raja Ampat.
She's a 40-metre traditional Buginese schooner carrying up to 14 guests across eight staterooms on three decks — reduced from 16 guests following a 2026 dry dock conversion that turned the two smallest cabins from twin bunks into private singles, trading maximum headcount for more accommodation options.
An unusually inclusive rate
The published rate on Seven Seas covers more than most liveaboards bundle in as standard — port clearance, national park entry, and village access fees are all included, alongside unrestricted Starlink WiFi in every cabin and common area, return airport transfers, and full board with welcome cocktails. A dedicated dive master, full tanks and weights, and a 15-litre tank where available are also part of the rate.
Nitrox and rental dive gear are both available at an additional cost, as are guided tours and beach visits with a formal guide.
Diving
Up to four dives a day run on standard days — three day dives and a night dive, aside from embarkation, disembarkation, and days spent steaming between regions. Diving is supported by twin compressors, 24 aluminium tanks, and three dive tenders — two twin-engine boats carrying six divers each, plus a smaller single-engine tender for four. Conditions are checked at every site before guests enter the water, a dive safety record the operator takes seriously after a decade and a half of continuous operation.
Hytter
