Crisp uniforms, warm towels the moment you're back on board, and four decades of doing this the same way, every time.

This is a platform announcement. If you're here to plan an Indonesia liveaboard trip, start with the Indonesia liveaboard guide.

Aggressor Adventures

Aggressor has been running liveaboards for over 40 years, and it shows in the details — proper nautical uniforms, a crew that anticipates what you need before you ask, and a level of operational consistency that comes from decades of doing exactly this. Two of their Indonesia vessels are now on Coralbound: the Raja Ampat Aggressor and the Komodo Aggressor.

This isn't boutique luxury or wellness-first. It's a global operator's standard for service and safety, applied to two of Indonesia's best dive regions, with the polish of a brand that has run this exact model for a long time.

Raja Ampat Aggressor

The Raja Ampat Aggressor is a 30-metre (100 ft) steel ship sleeping 16 guests across eight staterooms — three Master staterooms and five Deluxe, all with private bathrooms, climate control, and picture windows or portholes. She's been operating in Raja Ampat since 2015, running 7 and 10-night itineraries departing from Sorong and covering the Four Kings — Batanta, Misool, Salawati, and Waigeo.

Onboard, the salon and dining area are air-conditioned, with a shaded sun deck and lounge chairs for surface intervals. Diving runs from two dedicated tenders, with nitrox included and a camera table on board for underwater photographers. Evenings bring fish identification talks, movie nights, and the usual easy rhythm of liveaboard life — all meals, snacks, and beverages are included throughout.

The 10-night route covers Misool and the central Dampier Strait area, while the shorter 7-night itinerary concentrates on Misool alone. The Raja Ampat Aggressor also runs longer crossings to the Derawan Islands, and combined Raja Ampat–Halmahera–Lembeh itineraries in both directions, along with a separate Lembeh–Derawan route and its reverse.

Komodo Aggressor

The Komodo Aggressor is a 29-metre (95 ft) traditional pinisi, twin-masted and built in Indonesia, sleeping 16 guests across eight staterooms — including two Balcony Suites with private balconies, three Master staterooms, and three Deluxe staterooms. She's been running Komodo itineraries since 2001, with 7, 9, 10, and 11-night charters departing from different ports depending on the route, covering Komodo National Park and beyond.

A dedicated camera room, fresh water showers, and an air-conditioned salon with a sound system round out the onboard experience. Diving runs from two tenders with twin engines, and the standard 7-night route concentrates on the northern part of the park around Gili Lawa and the Sape Strait — strong current sites known for mantas, schooling fish, and the occasional passing shark.

For guests who want it, most itineraries include a guided walk on Komodo Island to see the dragons in the wild, accompanied by park rangers and Aggressor Liveaboards staff.

Beyond the standard Komodo routes, the Komodo Aggressor also runs a Komodo–Sumbawa itinerary to see the whale sharks at Saleh Bay, an Alor itinerary, a combined Alor–Banda Sea route, and a North-to-South Sulawesi crossing covering Gorontalo, the Togian Islands, Pulau Dua, and the Banggai Islands — a route few other operators run.
