All Star Liveaboards
All Star Liveaboards is the operator behind the All Star Velocean, the first vessel from its fleet to join Coralbound, with more of the fleet expected to follow as we expand. Velocean is a different kind of boat from most of the Indonesian fleet. Most liveaboards here are traditional wooden Phinisi. Velocean is a purpose-built diving yacht with an all-aluminium hull and superstructure, built in 2020 and renovated in 2025.
All Star Velocean
Velocean is 52 metres long with an 8.5-metre beam, powered by twin Cummins engines. The operator quotes an average speed of 18 to 20 knots, and describes her as the fastest diving liveaboard in Indonesia. Speed matters on a liveaboard because it shortens crossings, which leaves more of each day for diving. Stabilisers are fitted for a steadier ride between sites, and she has a range of 2,000 nautical miles.
She is built to comply with Lloyd's Register in the UK and BKI Class in Indonesia, a level of classification uncommon among Indonesian liveaboards. A crew of 24 looks after a maximum of 18 guests.

Suites
Ten ocean-view suites sit on the main deck and above, in three categories:
- Platinum Oceanfront Suites (2) are at the front of the vessel, with panoramic windows and the most privacy.
- Elite Ocean Suites (6) are on the upper deck, set up for you and your dive buddy.
- Signature Single Suites (2) are a true single-occupancy option, not a shared or supplemented cabin, and include private camera workspace.
All suites have an en-suite bathroom, premium linens, a large picture window, individual climate control and complimentary WiFi.
Outside, the 400 sqm of deck includes a 360-degree sundeck with a jacuzzi and banquette seating, an indoor saloon and an observation deck.

Built for diving and photography
Velocean was designed around diving and underwater photography rather than adapted for it. Each diver has a private gear station on a shaded dive deck, with rinse hoses and DIN adaptors, and there are dedicated camera workspaces. Sidemount diving is supported for single-tank configurations.
Two Bauer compressors and two independent membrane systems supply air and nitrox, and nitrox is free for certified divers. Four 5.2-metre dinghies with 40HP engines take divers to the sites. Dive groups are small, with four divers per guide, and up to four dives a day are offered. The crew speaks English and Indonesian.
Full board covers all meals, snacks, a beach barbecue, soft drinks, tea and coffee, night dives, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, land excursions and WiFi. Rental gear and park, port and fuel fees are charged separately, and a private dive guide is available for USD $200 per day.

- Banda Sea: April to May and September to November
