Wellenreng 的名字取自 La Galigo，這是公元 1500 年左右的布吉斯史詩創世記，其中記載王子 Sarawigadeng 建造了一艘同名船隻前往中國南方尋找他的愛人——這個傳說在當地被認為啟發了南蘇拉威西的造船傳統。船隻本身於 2008 年 8 月在 Tanah Beru 開始建造，歷時三年，船體由鐵木製成，內飾全為柚木，於 2011 年首航前往弗洛勒斯。船上只有三間艙房，最多可容納六到九位賓客，該船隻專為小型私人團體和家庭設計，而非共享出發，行程、日期和路線可根據團體偏好完全客製化。
三間艙房可容納兩類賓客，每間艙房都額外設有一張單人床，供兒童或第三位賓客使用。主艙提供特大床；兩間豪華艙提供加大雙人床。所有艙房均配備獨立空調、帶熱水淋浴的套間浴室、日光舷窗、書桌、儲物空間、保險箱，以及個人浴袍和洗浴用品，並提供每日客房清潔服務。公共區域包括帶沙發的陰涼戶外用餐和休息區、室內沙龍、帶豆袋的 360 度全景觀景台，以及帶躺椅和軟墊的日光甲板。一個小型圖書館，內有魚類和鳥類識別書籍，完善了共享空間。餐點融合了印尼和歐洲風味，由船上廚師準備並在戶外供應，配備 DeLonghi 咖啡機，使用當地咖啡豆，免費提供無酒精飲料，並可選購精選啤酒、葡萄酒和雞尾酒。
潛水裝備齊全，包含高氧潛水，每天最多可進行 3 至 4 次潛水，包括夜潛，並配備一艘 7 米長的玻璃纖維小艇，配備雙 40HP 引擎、獨立座椅和氣瓶架。氣瓶為 12L 和 15L 鋁製，DIN 和 INT 配置，設有淡水沖洗箱，用於設備和相機，以及潛水甲板上的熱水淋浴。當地潛水導遊帶領小團體前往日間船隻無法到達的隱蔽潛點。除了潛水，活動還包括划獨木舟穿越潟湖和紅樹林、浮潛、參觀無人島嶼的海灘、參觀村莊、觀鳥和日落巡遊——所有活動都以靈活、悠閒的步調進行。包含 Starlink 無線網絡。

Wellenreng's Master Cabin features a double bed and an additional single bed, available for a third guest upon request, a small desk, a daylight porthole, individual air conditioning, reading lights, ample storage, and a private en-suite bathroom with hot water shower. The cabin must be booked in full and cannot be shared by separate travelers.
